What people say about
The Listening Room

Names have been changed to protect confidentiality. Shared with permission.

I came to Kamlesh feeling completely lost. Within a few months, I had tools I actually used — and a sense of myself I hadn't felt in years.

— Client · Anxiety & Self-Esteem

Kamlesh has an extraordinary ability to make you feel both challenged and completely safe. The Listening Room is exactly that — a room where I could finally listen to myself.

— Client · Grief

I was sceptical about therapy. Now I wish I'd started sooner. Kamlesh's warmth and expertise made all the difference. Highly recommend without hesitation.

Common Questions

Things people often
want to know

How do I know if therapy is right for me?

Therapy can help anyone who wants to understand themselves better, manage difficulties, or simply have a private space to think. You don't need to be in crisis to benefit.

What happens in the first session?

We'll talk about what's brought you to therapy, your background, and what you're hoping to get from our work together. It's also a chance to ask me anything you like.

How long will I need therapy for?

This varies greatly. Some people benefit from 8–12 focused sessions; others prefer longer-term work. We'll review progress regularly and you're always in control of the pace.

Is everything I say kept confidential?

Yes. Everything shared in sessions is confidential, in line with APA ethical guidelines. The only exceptions are rare safety situations, which I explain fully at the outset.

Do you offer online sessions?

Yes — both in-person and online sessions are available. Online sessions are conducted via secure video call and are just as effective, with the added convenience of no travel time.

What if I want to stop at any point?

You can end therapy at any time. I ask for a week's notice where possible so we can have a proper ending — but there's never any obligation to continue beyond your own wishes.
